Prototyping

Our prototyping process is designed around building a process that allows for high quality and consistent production volumes to meet any needs.

We prototype every part that goes to production. During this process customers will receive prototype samples that closely match the finished production parts. This process is necessary to precisely put the parts into the center of their tolerance range, but it can also be used to help develop parts for faster and easier production.

During the prototype phase we can confirm:

• Sizing – Part dimensions are measured to make small adjustments before more costly production tooling is made.
• Capability – Process capability is measured to confirm part tolerance ranges are achievable long term.
• Material performance – Multiple types and grades of resin can be run to achieve not only a range of porosities but also varying physical properties.

Typical prototype volumes consist of only a small number of parts, however larger prototype runs can be made if needed.
